(55)CUP(S) GAS RICE COOKER & WARMER Model No: RM-55P-R 

Extremely reliable, simple to maintain and automatic gas rice cooker. Town RiceMaster commercial gas rice cookers can cook a variety of foods. A bimetallic temperature sensor, mounted in the base of the rice pot, provides optimum control and temperature accuracy. The rice is kept hot after cooking, via the internal pilot burner. A thick-walled, cast aluminum rice pot, with plated steel drop handles, ensures even cooking and is extremely durable. A standard rear gas feed allows for easy connection and eliminates stress on the gas valve body. A gas pressure regulator is supplied with the unit. Includes rubber non-skid feet.

Features

The RM-55 offers all the features of our economy model with improvements; it has NSF and ETL listing. The rice pot and base are easy to clean. The burner system construction has been upgraded. Pressure regulator is included.
Top Quality
Years of experience and constant improvement are incorporated in our current designs. The bimetallic temperature sensor is superior to liquid, chemical or magnet systems used by others. The rice pot has comfortable, wide plated steel drop handles on the rice pot that remain cool enough to touch while the unit is in operation. These handles are able to withstand considerable abuse. Bakelite handle on the stainless steel cover is also durable.
Cook and Hold 
RM-55 is approved for cook and hold. It incorporates a stronger warming feature to maintain the temperature of the rice at the required temperatures. 
Mexican or Chinese? 

Wash rice before cooking to prevent sticky rice. Check our Owner’s Manual for instructions on making steamed or flavored rice. The RM permits rice to be fried before cooking. The recipe and steps to make Mexican rice in an RM rice cooker are on the following page. Town RiceMasters use the 6 ounce (by volume) Asian standard but also provide capacity by weight on the following page. Six month warranty
