The Hobart HS9N-1 CleanCut™ Food Slicer is a heavy-duty automatic commercial slicer designed for continuous-use deli, supermarket, restaurant, butcher shop, and professional foodservice operations. It features a 13 inch CleanCut™ stainless-steel knife with a high-performance cobalt-alloy edge, a 1/2 HP knife-drive motor, and a Hobart Poly-V belt drive operating at 430 RPM. The variable four-speed automatic carriage and three selectable stroke lengths provide flexible slicing performance for meats, cheeses, and vegetables. The gravity-feed carriage accommodates products up to 10 3/4 inch wide or 7 1/2 inch in diameter, while the gauge plate adjusts slices up to 1 inch thick. The top-mounted Borazon® sharpening system uses two stones to sharpen and hone the knife in approximately five seconds. The tilting and removable carriage, removable meat and vegetable grip, removable ring guard cover, sanitary anodized aluminum construction, and cleaning features support efficient sanitation. Six safety interlocks, zero knife exposure, no-volt release, home-to-start, close-to-stop, gauge-plate interlock, carriage-system interlock, and 30-second automatic shutoff provide enhanced operator protection.
