The Blue Air BLMT28-HC is a compact refrigerated Mega Top prep table designed for commercial kitchens that need refrigerated ingredient storage and an accessible preparation station in a smaller footprint. At 27-1/2 inch wide, the one-section unit provides 7 cu. ft. of refrigerated storage behind one self-closing door, with an adjustable epoxy-coated wire shelf for organized storage.

The Mega Top ingredient section is configured for 12 × 1/6-size food pans. Standard 1/6-size, 4 inch deep pans are provided, and the unit accommodates 6 inch deep pans. An insulated pan cover with a stainless steel divider helps protect the refrigerated storage area below from ingredient spills. A 9-1/2 inch deep, 1/2 inch thick cutting board and side-rail cutting board bracket provide a dedicated workspace for sandwich assembly, salad preparation, wraps, pizza toppings, and other cold-food applications.

Blue Air specifies a self-contained rear-mounted refrigeration system using R-290 refrigerant and a 33°F to 39°F temperature range. The electrodeposition-coated evaporator is designed to maintain heat-transfer performance and help reduce potential corrosion, while the hot-gas frame heating system helps reduce condensation around the refrigerated cabinet.

The BLMT28-HC features stainless steel interior and exterior construction with a galvanized steel back and bottom. Its self-closing door uses a replaceable gasket and heavy-duty nickel-chromium-plated all-metal handle. Digital temperature controls and a display allow operators to monitor the cabinet, while the self-diagnostic controls include automatic evaporator fan motor delay. A visual and audible door-open alarm alerts operators when the door is not completely closed.

Four 4 inch swivel casters with front brakes are standard, allowing the prep table to be moved for cleaning or kitchen layout changes and secured during operation. The unit operates on 115V/60Hz power with a NEMA 5-15 connection and is ETL listed.
